The Freshers’ Orientation Programme is designed to help you transition smoothly into life at UICT. It includes both in-person and online sessions to ensure accessibility and engagement.

  • Registration & Verification: Bring your original admission letter and academic documents for verification.
  • Orientation Kit Distribution: Includes joining instructions, academic calendar, and access guides.
  • System Training: Learn how to use the Academic Management Information System (ACMIS) and Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Meet Your Leaders: Interact with Heads of Departments, lecturers, and administrative staff.
  • Support Services: Learn about counseling, health services, clubs, and student rights.
  • Campus Tour: Physical and virtual tours of labs, library, and key facilities.

Verify Your Admission

Ensure you have received your official admission letter via email or portal. Contact the Academic Registrar’s Office if there are delays: 📞 +256 762 944 036 | 📧 academic.registrar@uict.ac.ug

Pay Your Fees

Generate a payment reference via the Admissions Portal or Student Portal . Pay via Stanbic Bank, mobile money, or online transfer using your reference number. Submit pay-in slip copies to the Accounts Office for receipt issuance.

Register as a Student

Attend the Academic Registrar’s Office on 18th August 2025 for central registration. Required documents: Original admission letter ‘O’ & ‘A’ Level results/certificates National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) slip Passport-sized photos (6 copies) Payment receipt You will receive an enrolment form to complete and submit.
