The Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE) at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT) is designed to equip students with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills in electrical systems, electronics, automation, and smart technologies. This program bridges theory and hands-on training to prepare graduates for dynamic roles in power systems, industrial automation, electronics design, and energy technologies.

🎯 Program Objective
To develop competent electrical and electronics technicians and technologists capable of designing, maintaining, and implementing modern electrical systems and electronic devices in accordance with global engineering standards and Uganda’s industrial needs.

🎓 Admission Requirements
- UCE (O-Level) with at least 5 passes including Physics, Math, and English
- UACE (A-Level) with a minimum of 1 principal pass in Physics, Math, or Technical Drawing
- OR a Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized institution
