The Diploma in E-Governance & Digital Transformation (DEGDT) at the Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT) is designed to equip future leaders, innovators, and IT professionals with the tools to digitize governance and accelerate national development. This program blends ICT, public policy, cybersecurity, and change management to drive sustainable digital transformation across public and private sectors.

🎯 Program Objective
To produce skilled professionals capable of planning, implementing, and managing ICT-based reforms in governance and public administration—promoting transparency, efficiency, inclusivity, and citizen-centric service delivery through technology.

🎓 Admission Requirements
- UCE with at least 5 passes including Mathematics and English
- UACE with at least 1 principal pass in ICT, Government, Economics, or related subjects
- OR a Certificate in ICT, Public Admin, or Development Studies from a recognized institution
