Students Guild

The Uganda Institute of Information and Communications Technology (UICT) Students’ Guild serves as the official student body, representing and advocating for the interests and welfare of all students at the institute. The Guild plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant campus life, organizing events, and facilitating communication between students and the administration.

Mission and Objectives:

  • Representation: Act as the voice of the student community, ensuring their concerns and suggestions are addressed.
  • Engagement: Organize social, academic, and cultural activities to enrich the student experience.
  • Advocacy: Promote student rights and work towards creating a conducive learning environment.

Guild Leadership:

The Guild is led by elected student representatives who serve in various capacities to oversee different aspects of student life. For instance, Michael Nkwanga, the Guild President, is a passionate advocate for innovative technologies and brings a student-centric approach to leadership. X.com
